kudos to pete and trish for a great time out in NYC while I was there :) After I returned from NYC I met up with Jasmine and her boyfriend down in Milford @ Starbucks. Had a few good laughs :) HOPEFULLY, she'll get her ass on a plane next year and come visit! YOU MUST, YOU HEAR ME JASMINE?! after meeting up with them Sunday night, Monday I returned the rental car and then Tuesday was my flight back. Pretty much just said my goodbyes Monday night and Tuesday and that was it. My grandparents took me out for breakfast tuesday morning and then my sister brought me up to the airport to catch my flight. I've never been that early for a flight before. And BOTH my flight out of Bradley AND connecting out of Baltimore were about 30 minutes late each. I did a lot of sitting in airports Tuesday. I was done come landing. haha.
shot home after the flight landed to drop off all my stuff to find that I left the fudge from mashpee and wine glasses from truro up in CT!!! pisser!! went out with chad, trystin, brian, and mike to tom and jerry's for karaoke night with some members of Trystin's cast. I'm not sure it was acceptable for me to sing "These Boots Are Made For Walkin'" but I did anyways and people loved it :) No, it was not the Jessica Simpson version. that whore. bleh. Strange thing...Mike introduced himself to Brian and Chad as Will, rather than Mike. I hate when people change their names up. I asked him about it and he said that's what his Mom calls him so he must have just been thinking about her. Pick a name and go by that, k?! *tilts head* I had originally planned on taking Mike out for dinner when I got back...but alas I had NO money left from the vacation spending splurge. hehe. Oh well. told him I'd make it up to him on Friday when I got paid, and did I ever ;) lesse...got RIGHT back into being my busy self @ work come Wednesday. I wish this year would end and 2006 could be on it's way.
Wednesday, got word that Tystin and Chad found a potential place to move into. They went to go look at it...it's a duplex up in College Park with both sides available. Now we had joked about finding something like that but what were the chances we'd find one with both sides available?! hehe. rawk. It's not that large of a place from what I'm told, but I'm sure I'll be able to make it work. I had originally been looking for a 1 bedroom but after they found that duplex I couldn't help but be interested. I talked to Brian thursday and he said he'd be up for getting the other side with me. So this could just work out! w00t!
Thursday not much went down. went to class. took my week 2 exam. passed. ready to move onto Week 3 material I suppose. came home to find a few peeps had come over to watch Reefer Madness. YES!@# If you've not seen this, I HIGHly recommend it. "Listen to Jesus, Jimmy". hehe. after that was over I went out to Wyldes with Trystin and Bidal. So yeah...talk about a fucking LATE night. maaaan. We closed the bar. haha. Jimmy showed up with his friend Chris. I totally didn't even know he was there...just happened to walk across the place and I heard my name. I don't understand this boy. What is his deal? He insisted upon telling me not to hang out with Mike again. This is now the 3rd time he's gotten on my case about this. Sure, I think Mike is a bit strange and unusual but I dig it. I think Jimmy's pretty out there too for that matter. How one can complain SOOOO much about their boyfriend and then continue to maintain such an f'd up relationship with them...I don't get it. I guess Jimmy believes Mike stole from him. And there are some questions/doubts in my mind about Mike...don't get me wrong. But I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt in this case. I've known Jimmy not much longer than I have Mike and trust me when I say I've laid it down to Mike as to where I stand. I've got to really get to know him better before it goes anywhere. Part of that is because of what Jimmy said...another part of that is just how I am. I'm not going to jump head first into the shallow end and hit my head. fuck that. Get to know my past. Get to know where I want the future to go. Know how I like my coffee in the morning (iced and substitute the coffee for red bull). And vise versa for fucks sake. whatever...boy drama. it's been a while :)
Friday night, went out to dinner @ Linda's La Cantina (thanks to John for putting the idea in my head!) w/Mike. Had the most amazing steak and dinner in general. untz. I managed to drink ALMOST the entire pitcher of Sangria myself. :) Had some great conversation. Told him about what Jimmy kept telling me. He got a little upset but I felt he should know. Plus I wanted to see his reaction...see what he would say about it all. get him talking, right?! Afterwards we came back to the house here and watched a couple movies. Old School and I, Robot. He had never seen either and definitely enjoyed them. As I was taking him home, Matt called me. It's like 12:55am on a Saturday and this bitch is calling me. Of course I answer to find that he's going up to Wyldes right now with his roommate. I met him up there and we talked for a bit. Bitch is having another kid! hahaha. OH...AND...likely coming out to his friends that don't know about his tendency towards the male gender from time to time. Bi guys scare me. why do many of em gotta be so cute?!
And I'll leave this update at that. Today has been mostly a bore. Reviewed the fundage situation. Took care of a couple things I needed to take care of...like updating some of my auto-paid things with my new visa card #. updated microsoft money...which took forever and a day since I had about a month's worth of transactions i needed to enter.
I'm hungry. someone needs to make me dinner. k thanks. |
